part 34 is not working please replace that
th error is crc error
the archive works fine, sometimes downloader cause such errors.
Please try again and if you fail get it without any use of a downloader.

I downloaded part34 5 times (!) now, and it always gives me a CRC error while unpacking ...
Just for your info, I tried with & without download manager, and on Mac & Windows. Always the same...
It would be nice if you could fix this problem !

But I have a problem. Since i have slow connection it took ma a lot of work to download this game (last one, with corrupted files) and i just cant download it again.
So, maybe somebody can help me... please.
I got the game installed but it wont work cause of missing files, maybe somebody could upload them?

Hi again, I dnot know what is wrong but i cant run the game. I installed 1.1 patch and updated nvidia drivers too but still... at the loading screen (first screen after clicking shortcut) it just crashes. "Stranglehold has encountered a problem and needs to close"
Im using DD Lite 4.11.12, YASU 1.4 and Fixed Image from gamecopyworld.
My hardware should be capable to run it:
Core 2 Duo E8400
8800 GTS 320
4 Gig of RAM

If we take the possibility of a bad instalation (due to CRC error) out of equation then did you you tried to run it with the crack that comes with?
No patch no nothing, just the crack that come with.
I wish i could help you more but i cant... sorry
P.s. Find a fast DSL and take the new version.

Its the same game as before only this time is broken to 4 DVDs and the last DVD has the patch.
Works fine since i tested by myself dont take my word...try it.
P.s. In case "they" found it and remove it i will NOT upload it again.

I got the game working :)
But I have to find out what causing the black screen problem. Not the one people describe in forums. I have black screen but the game dont crash (i can shoot and do stuff, can see the menu too) and if I ALT-TAB the game and put it back up its OK until something moves or something.
My hardware should be capable to run it:
C2D E8400 3.0 GHz
Nvidia 8800 GTS 320MB
4 Gigs of RAM
WinXP
Latest Nvidia drivers...
If anyone else has this problem then add -windowed to Stranglehold shortcut and no more black screen :)

If the game plays well in the window mode the black screen means drivers problems.
Saying you have the latest drivers is not a good thing always, try some older ones.

Can anyone post the "Coalesced.eng or Coalesced.spa files". I downloaded the 1 DVD russian/english version and the english text menu is missing. it's a 100kb only file.

You just need to download the first DVD to play, but need the "Coalesced.eng" file or the english text will be missed.
